Assam mango sellers hit hard by COVID lockdown

Mango sellers in Guwahati are facing huge losses amid mango season in the state. According to mango sellers they are selling the fruit at half price. “It is a mango season but the seller is very less. Ever since the lockdown, we are not getting a good sale. It gets rotten and we had to throw many pieces. There are no buyers. I am opening 4 hours a day. How much would I sell in these four hours? It is a huge loss for us”, says a mango seller Hari Narayan, Mango Vendor.
