Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released the Assam NEET Merit List 2020 for the admission into various Govt. medical and dental colleges for the academic session 2020-21.
Candidates who appeared and passed succesfully in NEET - UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2020 can now check and download Assam NEET Merit List 2020 for MBBS and BDS courses in the Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2020 under State quota seats.

Assam NEET 2020 MBBS BDS Merit List
All eligible candidates who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (U.G.)- 2020 (NEET-UG 2020) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2020 under State quota seats can now check ASSAM NEET 2020 Merit List for MBBS & BDS Courses. The merit list is available at Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam official website https://dme.assam.gov.in .
The 1st round counseling for selection of eligible candidates for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses under state quota seats will be conducted online by DME, Assam on the basis of this merit list only.
The Assam NEET Merit list consists of following details for each candidates-
a) State rank
b) NEET roll number
c) Name of candidate
d) Sex
e) Category
f) NEET score
g) Percentile
h) All India NEET rank
Assam NEET 2020 Counselling
- The 2nd Round of online Counselling for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses under state quota seats of Assam will commence from 10/12/2020 to 12/12/2020 midnight, which will be available at the official website of this Directorate, www.dme.assam.gov.in.
- Candidates who have already participated in 1st Round of State Counselling need not register again and can participate in the 2nd Round Online Counselling by online filling and locking choices afresh.
- Online filling of choices and locking of choices will be available from 14/12/2020 to 16/12/2020 midnight, after which the choices will be locked automatically if not locked earlier by the candidate. After processing the data, a college-wise and course-wise list of selected candidates will be prepared.
- Candidates, who registered for 1st or 2nd Round of Online Counselling but did not fill choices in the 2nd round of counselling, will not be considered for allotment of seats in the 2nd round of Online Counselling.
- A list of selected candidates along with modalities of admission will be displayed in the website of this Directorate on 19/12/2020.
- The selected candidates will have to get admitted in the respective institutions as directed and pay the requisite fees along with counselling fees at the time of admission.
Assam MBBS/ BDS Admission Notice 2020-2021
Online provisional select list of candidate after the 1st round counselling for admission into the 1st year MBBS/BDS courses, session 2020 in the Medical & Dental Colleges of Assam under Assam State quota seats has been published which is now available in the official website of this Directorate www.dme.assam.gov.in.
The selected candidates are hereby directed to report to the office of the Principal of the respective Colleges with following terms and condition on 18th, 18th, and 20th, November /2020 failing of which his/her candidature will be cancelled.
1, Candidates must bring all requisite document in original at the time of Admission.
2. Candidates shall have to deposit the original Admit Cards, Marks Sheets, Pass Certificates of HSLC and HSSLC or Equivalent examination, caste certificate and documents as specified in the MBBS/BDS Admission Rule. 2017 (Amendment upto 2020), to the Principal of the respective Colleges al the time of admission.
3. A counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only will have to be deposited at the Principal's office at the time of admission and the rest of the admission and college fees will be. informed later in due course of time.
4. The admission of the candidates are subject to the satisfactory Medical fitness certificate issued by the Medical Board constituted by the respective Principal of the Colleges.
5. Any candidate, who furnish false information/ declaration at the time of online selection or admission, his/her admission is liable to be cancelled at any point of time. Criminal proceedings shall be taken against such candidates for submission of false, fabricated documents/ information under appropriate law.
6. All the candidates shall have to enter in to an agreement as per the admission rule in prescribed format which will be available in the admission rule Schedule-ll-A/Schedule-It-B published in this directorate website www.dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates will have to submit the agreement within 15 days from the date of their admission in the office of the Principals of Respective colleges.
7. All admissions are provisional.
8. College uniform ts compulsory for all the student in all the Medical & Dental Colleges. College authorities shall prescribe necessary dress code.
