Enrolment of not more than 10 persons per hour to be done in each centre
GUWAHATI: Assam government has ordered all the district authorities to complete the Aadhar enrolment exercise by August 31 without fail.
In the latest order, from the commissioner and secretary to the state government general administration department to all deputy commissioners, the department said that in view of the various beneficiary schemes being introduced by the Centre and state government from time to time, the chief minister has directed the entire Aadhaar enrolment, generation exercise be completed in the state at the earliest possible time.
“For the same, it has become imperative to concentrate, specially in the areas of your district where the Aadhaar generation has not been satisfactory so far,” the order said.
Accordingly, the state government has asked the district administrations to set up Aadhar centres in camp mode wherever necessary, in coordination with UIDAI and by following Covid protocols.
Enrolment of not more than 10 persons per hour to be done in each centre and the details of the centres operational may be informed to the government, it added.
